The Northridge Vikings were defeated 59–53 by the New Lexington Panthers in a non-conference basketball game.
The match, held at New Lexington High School, saw Northridge make a significant push in the third quarter with 22 points. However, New Lexington responded with a strong 20-point performance in the fourth quarter to secure their victory.
According to reports, Northridge’s third-quarter surge was led by standout scorer Ava Travis, with Ruby Cermak contributing significantly on rebounds. Despite these efforts, Chloe Dick powered New Lexington’s decisive fourth-quarter run that ultimately sealed the win for the Panthers.
Northridge will continue to march through the early parts of their schedule in hopes of getting back on track.
